He send Mance on a mission, yes, but it's not like they join forces/armies, That stuff goes down between Jon and Tormund.

Speaking of Tormund, now that they got him as a prisoner, they don't need Val to find him. Which is a shame. I would have loved to see her in the show.

That is a shame...though she has potential to be an important character, maybe she'll be cast in S5? But then the showrunners seem to love cutting out smaller characters.

So, seeing as how the showrunners aren't afraid of throwing characters that never met in the book together in the show (Brienne vs. The Hound, Jaime and Bronn, for example), are there any characters you would like to see interact with each other? Some of them might be impossible at this point, seeing as how a lot of major characters are dead, but go ahead and pick from the beginning of the show as well.

I think scenes with...

Robert and Tyrion
Tywin and Stannis
Arya and Yara
Joffrey and Ramsay

...could have been interesting (or a disaster).

Interesting idea. It's such a shame GoT has a great cast portraying such interesting characters and yet about 80% of them never get to interact.
Good choices too.

I'd have liked to see Robb and Tywin, though I don't know how they'd meet. Also Robb and Joffrey, as that one happened in the books, would be good to see Madden and Gleeson together.

Eddard and Stannis / Roose.
More of the Stark kids interacting also.
Olenna and everyone she didn't meet purely for her banter skills.
