Ikarop, you're a bright star.

What are the 8th and 11th? Deacon?

ikarop

8th possibly. 11th looks more like the head of his hammerpede/sexburster.

Thanks for these, ikarop!

I really like the look, and the perspective view for #8.  So much better (IMHO) than what we got.

To be honest, most of them look like childrens drawings.

it appears giger have not exercised his artistic skills over the years.

Indeed, this and the 7th drawing are my favourites.

I don't know, Bobby...I am pretty sure these are "charcoal drawings", which are made in a very quick, almost stream of consciousness fashion, and with broad strokes.  It is the style.

Once a particular sketch is "approved", he would then go on to make a more detailed and realistic study/drawing or painting.

I suppose the 9th one labeled No 6 might be a version of the Babyhead.

So that's a Giger sketch of a Huante monster?

wmmvrrvrrmm

well, I think he was given the concept to work with by Ridley. It's either that or something less describable wandering around the caves

Magegg

Very subpar art for being Giger. Like I said before, he didn't seem to put much effort on those concept arts.

It's not concept art, it's a preliminary doodle, like his early preliminary work on Alien. Here's a sketch of the derelict, for example:
