The DMR has to be one of the worst Halo weapons ever, I sure don't remember anyone using a BR to destroy wraiths,ghosts,warthogs,banshees etc.
It really is a weird gun.

The H3 BR was just as bad sometimes. Connection affected it a lot.

But at least I could understand that weapon.

I prefer the magnum generally got a k/d ratio of 3.87 with it while with the DMR i've got 0.85

I meant it more like 'anyone can be good with DMR, as it's like playing the lottery'.

For all you know you're better with the BR and you just get lucky with the DMR.

I prefer the automatic rifle, pistol, shotgun, and especially my bare hands. I like to get in close. DMR is a weapon I use if there isn't much choice and if the is significant distance between me an my foe. Rockets and energy swords I only use if I happen to come across them.

Snipers I frown on but will use it if there is nothing else (last resort), yeah they can take a man's head off but it's a personal choice as I believe...

I like using Covenant weapons a lot. They tend to be very overlooked.

Though I hate the focus rifle.

I like that rifle for the campaign, especially against brutes. Three shots anywhere and they go boom.

It seems to me that plasma weapons take down shields better than bullets, it is just a theory though to me anyway, I just have that feeling.

You're talking about the Needle Rifle.  Its needles detonate after three of them are in an un-shielded enemy.

Plasma weapons do take shields down faster than Ballistic weapons.

Which makes killing Brutes laughably easy.
