I like the booby trap idea, hasn't really been done yet, however one would think alien hunters would have a few of these at their disposal, maybe Mombasa trips it, which is the spike, then it shoots up from the ground impaling him through the back. Or, like one of u said, one of the predators sneaks up behind him, impales him, then lifts his body on the spear.
