This film is good but it doesn't need it's own thread.

This is general film discussion isn't it? I would rather talk about All of Neeson's films not just one. I posted this thread for that purpose.

In my opinion it was worse than Taken or The Grey, but better than Taken 2...though, nothing fancy at so i wouldn't recommend this movie or watch it a second time.

Neeson is quickly becoming a contender to take over from Steven Seagal. He's even demonstrated how he can convincingly sport Seagal's 'Ken doll hairline' as well. :D

If Jaume Collet-Serra stays on to direct the live-action Akira you can bet Neeson will play the Colonel or some shit. Meanwhile they're doing another dumb action film called Run All Night.

The Grey is a much better movie than people give it credit for.

I will say, though, Neeson did a fantastic job in The Lego Movie.

Non-Stop was okay, but the rest of the movie couldn't live up to how tense the first act was.

But where does it stand in the pantheon of high-altitude thrillers like Passenger 57 or Executive Decision?

It's been so long since I've seen either of those that I can't really say.

Well, I'm guessing it doesn't have a villain on the level of Bruce Payne's mulleted greatness.
