These have been around for over a decade. I remember icons used to advertise these in the old cinescape, sci-fi universe, sci-fi entertainment and starlog magazines. They usually ran for $1,500 back in 97-99. Some even shot BB's and pellets while others were just attached to a plaque that looked like the colony floor grating. I always wanted one but never could afford it. Still cant for that matter.

I swear I visited that site months ago, and it still had the Pulse Rifle down as "coming soon"....

I've been after a good Pulse Rifle for a while, I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

It's a conversion kit. It's a dissembled Thompson put back together with a Pulse Rifle body. Thompsons are quite good airsoft guns as well.

You've gotta buy a thompson and the kit seperately, don't you?

I read a review on one kit, the guy claimed it was missing alot of screws and just really hard to assemble. Are there other kits/which is the best?

Did you buy it already done or do it yourself? Any chance of photos?  :)

Some sites do them as a custom gun so you can have to put 'em together.

I heard the one's you put together are prone to fall apart.

more details coming soon

You know in looking at the site further, I realised this is most likely going to be half scale and not 1:1.

Look here :

http://hollywood-collectibles.com/t2plasmarifle.html

"This is the first in our Hollywood Armory line of Half Scale iconic movie weapons from all your favorite movies! "

But at least the price is pretty managable.

I think it will be full sized, they used the hero rifle as a template.
