I've always assumed Predators come from a planet with higher gravity than ours because they seem to fall a lot slower when they jump.

I never noticed that myself, but they are definitely strong.

I would imagine far stronger and more agile than a human of equal height and build would be.

Very good idea about their home planet being larger and having more gravity.

I like that.

I dunno if it's my memory playing tricks, but the jumping in the first film and in AvP seemed to be like they were used to higher gravity, rather than a slo-mo effect.  Particularly some shots in the first film.

^ there was some jumping in P2 as well, also they make pretty quiet landings when jumping from such a height.

Didn't the P2 Pred Quietly land on a car yet bow the roof in?

They just move so agile on their feet in our gravity.

I can easily see them being from a planet where verything is 4-5 times heavier than they are here.

bad example (he's was on the run by that time), I was thinking of when he landed in the middle of the scientist/government agents and they didn't know he was right there. I think they can be quiet when they want to.

it freak me out that Mac was sighted before he even had a chance to move.
