Is there any reason why we couldn't just get the original Alien? Here's your variations: 1. Original Alien 2. Pred-Alien 3. Tarkatan Alien.

This is mortal kombat, people get spiked whips going through the back of the cranium and then get back up no problem. They'll shrug off a little acid.
