I give it a 7/10.
A good produced and good directed movie, for a very mediocre proposal.
Kind of facepalm-y to read Gunn criticized superhero movies for being "dumb" and "not proposing anything innovative anymore" while this movie was just Guardians of the Galaxy + Deadpool.
He couldn't have make it more formulaic than that.
A "passably entertaining" movie, but nothing else.
I like 2k16 film a little better, for a few reasons, and I'm still hoping the Ayer cut will see the light of day one day...
