Hello everyone i would like to show you my upcoming game.

Project: Xeno(it isn't final game name), is a first person shooter with coop mode located in a Aliens Universe but no movie story. It will be more like AvP2 but without predators (for now). We will have level system wchich will give you modified player model every next level will change the way you look (more armor elements for example). And weapon masteries, you will gain experience for gun you actually play - higher rank = better benefits. There will be 3 classes(Trooper, Combat Medic, Support Specialist). Each class have unique abilities and 1 weapon that other classes can't use. For now i plan only 1 big map, where will be territory control. Players starts from a outpost with few Marine NPC and auto turrets(they are not following player just deffending). There will be special territories like generator, controlled by marines turning on lights on a whole map or ammo magazine where marines won't have to turn back to main camp and resupply on this magazine. For now game is in very early stage. and here is many things to do. But i can show you some screens and video.

I'm using Unity 5 engine, it's realy powerfull tool and easy to learn.

About M41A sound i don't need "how to do it" i need people's opinion about these 2 (actually on my video and old ACM project).

Keep the one you have. The sound effect from the old deleted A:CM project is bland, uncharacteristic of the pulse rifle, and lacks identification with the Aliens universe.

Thank you for your opinion. Im listening all time this sounds and finaly me too think actually one is better. You can feel much more power from this gun.

Everyday im doing small progress and i would like to share this with other Alien fans by this way i think it may be a good game.

I wonder if this graphics engine will be similar to the old engine liltech.
I think the graphics engine more similar in reality is the source of half life.
in the past an old French project called Alien vs Predator source was abandoned following the new title avp3 2010 by rebelion.




garry's mod is also very simple to use. unfortunately im not a programmer or a scripter.
maybe rest only a dream but would be very nice to create a tribute to the old AVP2 .
what do you think?
a nice exemple of tribute is Black Mesa Source mod
the single player story of old half life 1 in new graphic source engine.
it would take many moons for what I have in mind

Game will be free no premiums, item shops and others payments type just simple multiplayer. "doing aliens" you mean for players? It's coop with Marines controled by players only, but maybe there will be special Xenos controled by players(Preatorian, Queen for example) but for sure not now.

Source engine is realy pain in ass for game creators and it's realy old one. If you want to work with it you need spend 500x more time than on Unity engine.

I'm not a programmer I repeat
the new interface garry's mod is simple intuitive.
I managed to load only some old files from the old rez AVP2. a wide range of objects including older original weapons of the game are available.
always better than starting from nothing

Well Motion Tracker have his basic function i need add few things and make him for gameplay. Motion Tracker is 30% ready.

Press gameplay i mean he will work like in A:CM, but only when you handle pistol (no M41A or Shotgun or other gun). We won't see him much then. So i think to make welded Motion Tracker to Smartgun (gun used only by Trooper class), what you think?

It's not joke and i didn't even noticed it was on Prima Aprillis  ;D

And i did another progress, almost ready Motion Tracker.

After video i boosted a bit graphic(more hand details, better Motion Tracker effect and modified light).



Now im working on M56 Smartgun (i have only to do animations and special vision for him).

Last days i spend too many time to work on this project and i have important exams soon. Need to freeze updating for about 5-6 weeks. I will get back to work on the half June. Soon i will maybe preapare playable pre-pre-pre Alpha version for download (SinglePlayer only) so you will know on your own PC's mechanics, graphics and others. It will contain only 1 area attacked by xenos from all sides.
