I expected a slow "character-based" book that takes place on Coruscant and has some palace intrigue.
But it was Han Solo winning planets by gambling and witches riding Rancors instead.
Not that I'm complaining.

Those Witches of Dathomir are quite different, the majority of the tribes are what we would call light side leaning, save the Nightsisters who use the dark magick. The Nightsisters in Canon are all there is of the witches thusfar and they use dark magick/ichor.
