Pumpkinhead is awesome, and I have no issue with Chet looking similar.

As for the AVPR warrior alien... Yeah, that ain't a good design.

It was another reused body suit situation IIRC. They redid the heads and neck (which was a little too fat for my liking).

Honestly, so mesmerizing. I want to see that kind of fluidity on screen one day.

I prefer the skull myself but it's a situational thing. Like it looks good in ALIEN and I like the touch of the Yaujta skull being visible underneath the PredAlien dome.

However it doesn't really work for me in Covenant (like a lot of things in that move TBH) since the "Alien" in that is much more ravenous it seems the skull is here more to make it look scary rather than uncomfortable. The great thing about the Alien's creepiness is that it's creepy on several different levels and we don't need a screaming skeleton to justify that. It's a walking allegory for rape and so its humanity in the skull is all the more uncomfortable and horrifying given the nature of its birth. Even the carapace warriors remember that because it just makes the parasitic wasp inspiration all the more obvious given its resemblance to insects.

So I like it in the other films but I find it in Covenant a little meh.
