It's cool in terms "oh, they bothered enough to acknowledge that feature of original design" but not because it makes it more scary or Alien-like looking.

It's nice, but it still has the dreadlocks problem. As long as we don't see Preds moving their locks like gorgons or something, I'll still be left with the impression that we got an Alien with hair, which sounds ridiculous, illogical and lacking in aesthetics.

And if we're going with the "whatever goes" logic, why not be a little more audacious?

I heard you thoughts about dreads but personally never was able to understand that "dreadlocks problem". I think it makes PredAlien really unique design. Just adding mandibles to Alien head isn't enough for me.

Also, i think in Dorman's painting dreadlocks shown in movement and just overall look cool. So yeah, i'd love to THIS PredAlien one day come on big screen.
