That's a shit argument and you know it, second of all the "greater community" wasn't aware of the "improvements" until they got in game.

Thirdly you're telling me this can't be done:

[D] MS 2.X.X Vanilla AvP2 DeathMatch
[D] MS 2.X.X Vanilla AvP2 Team DeathMatch
[D] MS 2.X.X Vanilla AvP2 LifeCycle
[D] Rommie's Balance Mod Team DeathMatch
[D] Rommie's Balance Mod All Weapons
[D]Russian Bear Mod TDM
[D]Russian Bear Mod WTF Free For All
[D] SG-2 TDM
[D] SG-2 Crucible of Darwin + UMP 2016
[D] SG-2 LifeCycle
[D] SG-2 Vanilla UMP 2016

The current situation right now is NOT a democracy, not even kinda.

Would you kindly tell us what are the gameplay diffferences btween 2.3 and vanilla avp?

I see a lot of talk here but not a single person has given an example yet.

JP  I like the settings that made by Rommie inside his test server.
most reflects the original style of the game.
compared to TBBC server (apart sounds) regeneration of alien life for exemple .
if you play as alien It is so high that eating dead bodies do not need.
the speed of the characters are identical yes ,
but one has the feeling that time passes more quickly.
in short the game play seems faster in multiplayer than  in a LAN in game ranger.
I repeat it is just a feeling.
want a exemple?
my favorite character alien class "runner".
yes animation are better , nice work!
speed is same ,punce is same. nice work!
but I sometimes have the feeling that slide on some surfaces where previously I could climb.
in short, I dot like the feeling of not having full control of my 4 legged.

Trusting a readme is like trusting television :P
One of the key features is the ability to unlock all weapons.
Wouldn't bother me if, it wouldn't be allowed on a almost all server.

@Le Celticant: I don't think that's an attribute-changing aspect, that's a server-side preference.

Though this isn't a gameplay-changing aspect either, I'm far more concerned about this disturbing message:

Didn't see "can no longer host games that are not dedicated servers" in the readme. I guess Le Celticant was right.

By the way, in case you're wondering why I don't just start a dedicated server, the new MSP's dedicated server function doesn't allow you to be hosting the dedicated server and to connect to it as a player. So I guess if you don't have a spare computer to run the server, you can't start your own game. Wow. Just wow. "Either play with us or don't play at all."

@Olde: It's still a modification, not major but it can changes quite a bit since the original game was designed to have either class system or pickup weapons making it both a teamwork and a challenge for the players. Now you have full instant access to everything at your fingertips.
I mean, if you go this way, why not give the Runner the Predalien pounce and the Praetorian health...  ::)

Quotethe new MSP's dedicated server function doesn't allow you to be hosting the dedicated server and to connect to it as a player

That is wrong, I've just created a dedicated server, it shows right on tbbc website server list, it shows in game and I was able to join it and play it.
What can sometimes happen due to router is that your server won't show inside the game and you'll have to enter the IP manually. But there's no problem at all to join your own server.

Why would they remove non dedicated though ? I don't get it  ???

Because the vanilla server app was so broken that it became basically useless. Now you have a fully working server app without having to go for Rommies mod or another modded app.
