Why do I suspect that the "new mutant big bad" is just going to be a Cameron alien in keeping with the mashup of aesthetics from both of the first two movies?

I've also had this thought about this "sandwich" movie and also with the queen.

Whatever way you flip it though the Extended edition of Aliens shuts it down.
