I think that Fox could be planning a fifth Alien movie in the near future...

Because in 2000 they released a boxed set which they called Alien Legacy, which makes the series sound complete, but in 2005 they released another boxed set with alot more features, but they called Alien Quadrilogy. This makes it sound like theres only four so far.

Well lets hope...

What if Ripley lost the fight against the alien DNA in her veins and the perfection of said DNA began to rid itself of the human shell that carried it in favor of a that of an egg-laying queen? It would grant the opportunity for not only to let Weaver play a new twist on the character, but to write the character out of the series once and for all. The only trouble with that would be not making the transformation look too much like Sil from Species.

Hence the Rocky anthology 5 movies...


Then again it's looking thin at the mo for an Alien V, the next alien movie (if there is one) will probs be a re-make or a prequel.....

Five is Pentalogy, apparently. I'm not surprised Fox went with Quadrilogy. The real names sound strange.
