I just went into a normal avp2 game, devoid of mods.
It's a lifecycle server, a clan one. Must be good.
I go in, oh, one pred who's nowhere to be seen, and a human in an exo.
Ok... i think, i'll wait.
Finally a bunch of people join at once.
Including an admin.
A staggering, admin. Upon voicing my opinion of staggering, etc. I was promptly muted, put on forced observer and told to watch my language... 
forced observer.
Once i was unmuted and such he complained of someone rocket spamming, i made a note of his staggering and was kicked.
I rejoined.
And was kicked again.
I rejoined once more. I stayed. He complained at the rocket guy some more, whilst staggering a lot more.
Sad isn't it? How once a great online community has degraded into utter horse crap.
SG clan btw if anyone was wondering.
Hell, he's probably on this forum.

staggering is when you use a pulse rifle, but you tap the fire button repeatidly.
It uses half the amount of ammo, and does more damage.
It's an exploitation of a glitch thus, cheating.

It was obvious to me from the begining that when a game like AvP2 offers so many insta-kill/auto aim weapons (in some cases 1 hit kill AND auto aim), you're going to have a huge amount of idiots in the player base.  As much as I want AvP2 to be a good game, it's designed so that noobs can win easily and feel like they're badass.

AJL mod certainly helps thin out the idiots.

Not much, the AvP:R buzz got me back into playing AvP2 and helped me discover the AJL mod which I think is pretty bitchin'.  Have trouble finding other ppl online at the same time as me to play with.
