Isn't it just? I've said before how I don't generally do comics, but that one's a favourite (although I guess you could argue it isn't really a comic book).

Yeah Dorman was on point for Tribes.  Even though I was confused at first by the size and shape of the queen, thats just how he does it I think though.

Anyway Tribes is a oddly written story but when paired with the art it just works.

Off the back of talking about it I dug my copy out - never noticed before but the blurb inside the front cover (on the original hardcover edition, at least) promises more books like this from Dark Horse. Shame we never got any.

It's not a graphic novel, no, but plenty of the best stories I've ever read, Alien and otherwise, exist within the medium.
