Didn't Giger say in an interview that if the alien had a long head, why not have it hold a long tongue? I'd always assumed it was an idea he was happy with. I thought it was the back pipes he wanted to ditch.

He said, that long skull ought to have a function. I thought: I can make a long tongue come out. Later, he said, I had drawn the Alien with two rows of teeth [seen in Necronom IV] and Scott asked me if I could actually build it. Scott also suggested the tail.

As much as I hate heels and think woman are stupid for wearing them, these are pretty neat.

they could have modeled them after the queen's, but i don't think it could be told apart from a normal shoe.

No matter how many times I've seen that shot in the movie, it's always a thrill to try and spot the Alien among the chains.

If Im not mistaken, this shot is only in DC, and I love it. Its a great imagery of a sleeping alien, swinging on the chains from side to side, head down. Looking at that screencap you can virtually hear the clunking of the chains and drops falling
