Well, when Giger saw the final Alien head in action, he said it looked like a gorilla.

Well, when Giger saw the final Alien head in action, he said it looked like a gorilla. 

Wasn't that only the first Rambaldi head, which was too wide because of the mechanics? it was altered after Giger said it resembled Rambaldi's King Kong.
