yeah no respawns options is a must naturally.  but yeah it definitely should be an option so the mode has something for both types of players.


in AVP1 there was only respawns rules (I think.  wait was there?  man it's been a while but hey it's been 10 years since I played that on PC using MPlayer.)   No wait I think there was an option to see how many respawns each player had or something.  Aaaah I dunno someone who still plays it online would know.

This isn't Mirror's Edge.   Momentum would kill the balance because people will start complaining they
move and accelerate like a tank.     It would also reduce the chances of avoiding a stealth kill, and
make going around a corner to use the wall as cover useless since they are more likely to get eliminated
before their momentum reaches a good speed.

I don't know what you talking about... ::)

But I do remember how annoying it was in AvP2 where people
run same speed to every direction... (Especially backwards)

why are you even wasting your time here?? you obviously hate the game because every post you make is a complaint.... this is NO WAY NEAR AS FAST as Ut, infact they move slower than they did in the old AvP...

There is more "action" in that video than in those video clips we have seen
of this AvP(3)... But it doesn't really look that fast... AvP(1) was certainly
a lot faster than that... (Even this AvP(3) still seems about same or even
faster... as far as character movemet speed is concerted that is...)

later in the video Dave lays down the gauntlet and tells the viewer a good thing or two about balance
and good points why people should play AVP multiplayer instead of other games.

 I love you Ikarop  :P... 1 more week, then we will get our taste... almost feels surreal...

I really hope Affinity is right... as he said, that would take the game to a whole new level, strange really how such a small thing can effect such a large part of the MP experience, let respawns be optional..
