So I'd like to get one of the special editions of AvPR. Which region actually has the most features and deleted scenes?

UK Extended Combat Edition has a couple of extra features on which the US doesn't have, Science of the Hunter and Science of the Xenomorph. But I urge you not to buy this. The movie's too damn dark to see anything.

I adjusted the color, tint, and brightness on my TV and I see things better.

But then again, I'm watching the movie on a 20 year old RCV TV with my PS3 hooked up to it.

Can we get some comparisons between the R1 and R2 version? I've got an R2 basic version of AvPR that came with the Total Destruction set and I found that to be watchable.

But you shouldn't have to. Nobody should have to change their TV brightness because a movie's too dark.

I forgot you already had it. What's the point in getting the Special Edition?

In the case of my 20 year old RCV TV has a dull and flat color setting by default, I HAD to adjust the brightness and colors to make them more vibrant for my PS3 games and DVDs.

Also, Science of the Xenomorph, Science of the Hunter... never heard of those til now.

I saw! I was impressed with how he managed to get on for that kind of interview.

I gotta say, I liked Science of the Hunter the best, since I am a big Predator fan. I got to say, since the US DVDs don't have this, the UK fans definately got a treat with these.

Because I've only got the one disk. I'd like the special edition.

I'll see what I can gather up for you.

I haven't been in a Alien or Predator mood to watch the AvP films, not to mention I've seen the movies so many times to know them by heart, but... I'll see what I can do, okay?

Well I'd just appreciate a few screencaps or something from either region.
