Just heard some dudes with zip ties were trying to get ahold of a child a few miles from here.

Motherf*ckers.

It was just one of many he's worked on for the past 40 years or so.  He's been a volunteer mechanic here every Saturday for as long as I can remember:

Everyone wants him to hang it up though.  He's too old for that shit now, but it's what he loves doing.

Sorry to hear about the dislocation. How's he doing? But that said, that is a f**king cool hobby.

He said he's going to get some x-rays at the VA this week.  In the meantime, he's making do with ibuprofen for the pain.

I tried to take him in the day it happened, but he refused and just said he wanted to go home and take a nap.  That's my dad for you.

Oh, I'm not worried about me. The kids fine, that's the main thing.

My dad is similar. He also has a wide range of issues, some long standing that mean I can't always let him get away with it and I have to flip the script on who's being the parent sometimes.

Mine goes for anything and everything. He hates going to the doctor, but if his leg falls asleep he'll make an appointment.

Charles Dances cancelled his appearance at a con we're going to. He was literally the only person I wanted an autograph from. Gonna be a cheap con for me.

And my brain has turned off. Can't be f**ked with anything today.

One of the worst feelings ever.

Try whacking your head against the side of a roll cage. Maybe that'll turn it back on.

Yeah, I hate it. I hate when I feel like I'm wasting time that I could be spent doing something useful, but yeah, I just haven't got any will to do anything atm.

Embrace it.

Often times, we're most creative when we can't think straight.

That is true. Sometimes.

I do have some "brain diarrhea" drawings I'm proud of, namely these two:
