Massive ddos attack took out most of the country's internet for half the day.

Then we had an isis inspired terrorist attack.

Yeah I read about that.

About the criminals targeting you, I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope things will be better.  :-[

Almost certainly going to get worse before it gets better. I'm making serious plans to sell up and move elsewhere even though I'll likely never own a house again if I do, but the level of crime and total apathy to it here is officially intolerable.

Depending on where you'd like to move, we got easy immigration laws, decent welfare and healthcare, average weather,...
Not the greatest place in the world, but surviving isn't that hard over here.

Thought this said "massive dildos attack".

Talk about unconventional warfare.

Without getting too much into it, would it make me a bad person to hate being a close friends personal therapist for the past 2 years and just telling them that they're on their own?

For me that'd depend. Do they ignore your advice from the therapy sessions? If so I don't blame you. Otherwise, it's kinda part of the job sometimes.

Mine started to go in 2017 and I've just been putting up with it since.

My battery is in surprisingly good nick given that my phone is about six years old.

However, the charging port on the phone is starting to go, making it increasingly difficult to actually get a connection with the charger.

I've had more problems over the years with charger cords than I do with phone batteries. The damn things bend at the slightest provocation.

It's all about wireless charging now. Those things are amazing imho.
