In the first AVP movie, three young Predators are sent alone into the Antarctic temple complex to hunt Xenomorphs, gain their very first trophies, and become Blooded warriors. In the original comic books, an entire ship-full of in-Blooded Predators set off, accompanied by Elders, to begin their initiations. What could be the in-universe explanation for these radically different practices?
