I remember my first viewing of the film, up until certain moment Walter seemed kind of dull and I'm sure this was intentional as evidenced by Ridley and Fass speaking about the character, then he got a bit interesting during the wheat field attack when he sacrificed a part of himself. Then during the Covenant's crew stay at the Citadel, through interactions with David, this character transformed into something really interesting (being pushed to his limits by David) and I definitely enjoyed that dynamic. Do you think this was intentional?
