The Quintaro doesn't look awful, but yeah they're pretty inaccurate looks wise.
If only the old Hot Toys Snap kits weren't so over priced, they'd probably work with the Crusher/Raven scale wise

I actually liked the mercenary uniform designs quite a bit - they aren't complete retreads or recolors of the normal gear, and I feel like the different pieces work pretty well for making them feel more tactical and modernized while not breaking the general look of CM armor too badly.

They had the freedom to do new designs with them, and I liked the way they didn't go nuts with it - just not how they were the only thing you seemed to fight most of the time. Heck, I actually like the way their armor looks more compared to the marines ingame!

I like TemplarGFX mod V6 for it, as it totally upgrades the game to a propper aliens game. Story is still rubbish, but the aliens bounce from ceiling to floor like crazy. It feels more like the stuff we seen in movie. Good stuff.

mod v6? For some reason I feel like the version I have is v5, and moddb doesn't specify what version they have posted so I can't check if what I've got is the most recent version.

that's enough for me frankly. The
work of TemplarGFX's excellent,
but to really save the game you'd
have to rebuild the whole thing
from the ground up; there's no
saving the story or characters.

V5 doesn't have the Xeno fix. The Tether line. That thing that was in the news a few months back.

V6 plays....different. But I agree that you can only play this stuff so often. The Xeno's might be fixed, but the game is still a mess.
