Speaking of said Green Blob, does anyone know if it will be tweaked or touched up or removed in the Blu Ray release? I haven't been keeping up on the minute details of the anthology...

No one knows, but I immensely hope so. the go-motion used is very smooth and it's a shame it is ruined by this green that costantly escorts the Alien.

Hey, check out those sweeties!

CG to me suits the aliens better because of there frame. Humans are still humans even in suits, so a human can never fully act or pose like a alien without it looking like a guy in a rubber suit. Why do you think they always did close ups back in the days? never actually showing the full body? as an alien walks? it's just impossible to do without CG.

They did it just fine in A3 without any CGI whatsoever.

No they didn't.

Sure they did. You didn't like the shot of the Runner walking away from the Ox/Dog corpse?

The Ox burster is a new CG shot for the Quad.

It's a good pose, but the design ruins it for me.

It's some ADI shit. I really dislike the direction they've taken our biomechanical daemon from the stars.

Fair enough. Personal taste I guess.

Original post, the very first post on this thread (it's an AVP Alien).

Oh, thanks.
The AvP promo shoots really highlight the design chosen for the film. Really cool pics indeed. Would love to see a Resurrection Alien in the same environment (yes, with the resurrection design choices, alas the reptilian [anatomically speaking] legs)

But... you guys look at this now.
