Always loved this moment.This scene reveals the adult Alien's elongated skull for the first time-somewhat spoiled in the DC by including the earlier shot of it swaying above Brett.

I have never liked the (filmed version) egg-morphing scene.It interrupts the pacing,the colour design doesn't fit with the rest of the film and the acting isn't as polished.

I do like the concept and the scene (as described in the script and novel) but not the final filmed product.

lolz, yeah. To me it almost feels like there was some idea of how the alien was going to be shot or positioned that didn't end up working out as well as envisioned, or something. The bloody sneer still turns it up to 11, though.
