Freaky, but seems out of character for the Alien. Why would it be holding a human's skull? It's not the Predator.

I still think it looks odd.

I am such a fan of the whole scene involving the reveal of the Quuen in Aliens, I think they shot alternative takes with more or less lighting, this is just an assumption, because of production shots that show it with a ton of lighting behind it. It really doesn't make much sense why it would have that much lighting behind it, but I wish they used whatever version of the reveal that this production shot was from.
