AVP2 big problem(help!)

have the game AvP2 and Primal Hunt too but its giving me an annoying error:
when i start launcher i click ''PLAY'' after 5 secs the game is crashing and it goes screen of death(that blue screen)   
its very annoying i dont know what to do plzz help!

Have you downloaded and installed any patches? If so your game isn't up to date.

I've just re-installed. Patched up. SP works fine however when I click into Multiplayer, the game crashes at the server list - before finding any servers. Am running Vista, 32 bit FYI.

Gamespy. As if. Thanks, that works fine. Anyone know of a way to get the in-game browser working however? For peace of mind.

Remind me, to install custom maps, I create a directory in AvP2 called Maps, plop all the rez files of the maps in there and just include the line -rez Maps in the setup?

Turn UAC off and run as administrator when installing the patch. Try disabling the firewall and anti virus, they are responsible most of the time.
