rofl, Typhoon spent three weeks on his, and before tepes had finished no one else had even TRIED to mix transparency layers. You may not like them for aesthetic reasons, but they "suck" by virtue of "they suck" doesn't cut it.

I just downloaded it....I can't get it to work in my custom folder.Can someone please explain all this shit to me?

Unpack it to your custom folder, making sure you just have the REZ file and not the entire rar in your folder.

Start the game, click on options


In your command line box in the start menu you will put the following.

-rez custom/runner.rez

check the "always specify these command line parameters" box.

Click play.

:/ Given the size of the file and the textures in it, it shouldn't range very much at all for performance.

Indeed. Custom skins shouldn't affect gameplay at all. Maybe a slight affect, but not noticable unless you play for example AJL mod due the new coding, which requires more from the engine, which means that engine can't handle very much new stuff anymore.
