You can't remake alien, everything in Alien is perfect.

In my opinion, they couldn't remake any of the Alien movies and have them come out better than the originals just like every remake that I've seen.

I agree about the remakes, but i did thik carpenters the thing was a good remake

I haven't seen the remake of The Thing.  I'll have to check it out some time.  Maybe it will change my opinion.

The Fly and The Mummy 1999 where pretty good as well.
