Sport or Ritual

Unless we naively believe the Predators to be a one dimensional race it has to be for both, and probably many more reasons. I would imagine that they hunt for all the reason we do: sport, ritual, food, materials for the production of clothing and other items, etc.

In P2 the predator went to the slaughterhouse to eat, so I quess when they are on earth they hunt for sport, if their "code" is involved, that makes it a ritual.
So I would quess both.

I prefer sport. That doesn't mean I would outright exclude the possibility of hunting for ritualistic purposes.

I do too. I was perfectly content with thrill of the hunt and none of this ritual and honor bullshit. But it's gotta be both. AvP made it canon. Personally I prefer the sport thing. But who's to say all Predators hunt? Who's to say it's their only sport?
