The 20/20 Awards uses the advantage of time and perspective to annually re-evaluate the Oscars from 20 years prior. Utilizing the benefit of hindsight, a voting body of film industry professionals from around the world carefully elects either new or previous nominees, and hosts a live awards ceremony, designed to both honor and offer new perspective with fresh commentary on the impact of this body of work on cinema itself, and its influence on our culture. The awards will take place on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 at 8pm (doors at 7pm) at The Fremont Abbey. Tickets are $10.

That's pretty cool, and some damn fine revised nominations. Lots of love for Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Crying Game, and even a nod for Angelo Badalamenti's score for Fire Walk With Me! Geena Davis for A League of Their Own, too.

Spoiler
...and two nominations for Alien 3 8). Still snubbed Goldenthal's score, though.
