I explained it as "The Predators want to harvest the autistic kid's genetics in order to integrate autism into their species." They were beyond shocked and appalled. And one of them hasn't seen any of the movies, so that was fun.

Happy for the truly wonderful care I received from the ambulance paramedics and hospital staff yesterday. Being awoken at 1am in pain that quickly got worse to the point where I was passing out from the agony then rushed to hospital (drugged up til the gills) for emergency surgery was not what I expected when I went to sleep the previous night.


So I'm rather happy now to go from experiencing the most excruciating pain in my life to being right as rain and very comfy at home in less than 24 hours.

Fentanyl is a helluva drug.
