it was originally a hot toys AVP elder. i added the roaroing mouth with some green stuff epoxy. covered up the scar on the forhead. i pulled out all the dreads, removed the wire from them and painted them individually.

heres my custom predalien.i moved the dreads under the crest. nothinng to big.

my bathroom has good lights.

I like this.  It puts less emphasis on the dreads.  ...And I'm sure makes them look less like pigtails from the front.

THIS IS f**kING AWESOME!!!  That's how the thing should have looked in the film.  I'm half considering ordering another predalien fig just to do this to it.

i got a new camera, so ill put up more pics for you. yeah it looks alot better looking at it from the front. but the only problem i have with the figure is that its a shelf diver. i cant get it to stand for more than a couple of hours.

when i bought mine i had always intended to mod out the dreads. so theres no way i couldve messed up. i just dont want to paint it cause thats where ill muck it up.

i just grabbed and pulled. alot of them came out easily.

i also used a light to move the position of the mandibles. i think it looks alot more menacing with them kinda more angled like a preds
