Bro, that is just the best!  Cant imagine how it could be any better.  Joe did great at painting, but as an artist and sculptor myself, I tip my hat to you!  Your patience and skill with that sculpt made it easy to paint.  I salute you sir!

Thanks guys!!! I actually had fun sculpting the needed parts. But it was hard to picture it all together without the paint.

And I knew that the only one who could make it come alive was Joe.

He did an amazing job capturing the look of that Elder.

Very amazing work on the 18" Elder! Absolutely breath-taking, it's what I want to do with my 8" Figure.
What tools do you use?
What kinda putty?
What kinda paint?

My girlfriend bought me some decent Polymer Clay, is that decent for any of this sculptering work?
How do you make that rubber-like-plastic that the chest peice and other squishy flexy stuff?

The reason for all these questions is that in my spare time, I'm making a NECA AVP Celtic predator.
I'm completely resculptering a new mask from Polymer Clay, just not sure if I can use it as a finished touch.
I have the armor from the McFarlane (Arms, shoulders, back, leg, belt + flaps) Scar, modified it for the Celtic. (No ab-coverage and only one thing of thigh armor on the right leg.)

I'd love some tips guys! I'll post a screen of my results so far... Oh I also have the backpack, but I can't find the damn spear!

Necas 1:4 scale preds have actual real netting, not sculpted to the body like the 7".
