Yeah, we had a single special screening today(a week prior to the official release, and I was lucky to reserve tickets). I'm not really into writing reviews seeing how a few fellas already wrote a couple with which I pretty much agree. And yeah, the movie was a huge dissapointment, I really hope that was the last wev'e seen from this series, because by now I lost all faith.

Gore isn't generally bad, but this movie totally overused it.

After seeing the leaked clip I agree the gore here was wayyyy too much.

My wife enjoys a good alien/predator flick every now and then. I told her that this scene was in this new film, and xmas night she will be seeing National Treasure while I will be watching AvP2.   The scene is just something stupid you would expect to see in a Freddy Crugger film, not an Aliens / Predator film. It's just not necessary.

And 4 baby aliens from one host..... GAY!!!!!!!

I think we are getting a pretty good indication of just what the directors drew their inspiration from... It was not the classic films of these franchises , but the cheesy ultra gory horror/slasher films of the 80's...They were right when they said they filmed morally questionable material.  It looks like they have stooped to the level of today's schlockmeisters in an attempt to sicken and disgust the viewing audience.  All we need now is for the babies in the hospital nursery to be shown(on screen in lengthy scene) being chestbusted and eaten by the aliens...This will truly cement the directors place in history and sink these franchises once and for all...What they fail to realize is there is a distinct difference between gore done to enhance and gore that simply disgusts....This is beginning to look like a beavis and butthead production....Immature high school wetdream and frathouse taste is unacceptable...

not just gay but totally unnecissary too. why even mess with the aliens lifecycle like that? why even go there? this is a shock value gimmick plain and simple.

I dont see the problem, yes, its differend then the alien movies...

I like it, and gore doesn scare me off... even not if its a litleeeee too much.
We knew this movie was going to be with lots of gore, and now people are suprised...i dont get that.

Its something differend then we are used too.. but i still like it.

That's the thing, the gore isn't scary anymore. For some people it's funny for others it's plain stupid.

Its something differend then we are used too.. but i still like it.

I don't mind a little gore here and there also, I think alien 3/ predator 2 did the best job of pushing all the gore this type of film needs. No need to take it to the Friday the 13th level. And c'mon, Aliens, FOUR OF THEM FOR GOD'S SAKE are coming out of a pregnant woman?!?!?!   WTF, why?  It's not needed. One would have been pushing it just a little bit, but to expectable terms, but 4 of them>!>!  Not only is it gross, it isn't even Alien canon.

This movie is going to suck so bad, i can just feel it.
