Solid Pod as usual guys. Was great to hear the round table discussion. Ridgetop I am with you 100% reference is super important. I say an artist is only as good as his/her reference. Using reference does not mean tracing someone else's work. Unfortunately the industry is just going in that direction and has been for about 10 years. It's more prevalent in the larger publishers. Even talent does it and they blame the deadline, complete cop out.

Hi honestly think people don't sketch anymore, they do everything in the computer which forces them into corners.

Al that being said, I thought the crew, Space Jockey, derelict and Alien looked awesome.

I came into The first issue with a really positive outlook, I thought the alternate space jockey corpse looked really cool and interesting, the further I got though the more confused I got. I had assumed they somehow got a hold of the head and brought it back, I got confused about the cocooning scene as well. I wish they would have taken extra steps to differentiate from the original film more, I feel like it still hearkened back to Prometheus concepts which made it feel less original. There's some amazing alien storylines out there, but I feel like a lot of times things end up half done and we just have to appreciate what we get as alien fans, great concept but poor execution is the baseline for Alien.
