I'd say 1-3, Downpour, and Shattered Memories have the most playability for me. I enjoy the others as well, though, with 0rigins easily scraping the bottom.

I honestly thought Downpour was fairly poor in the 'horror' realm. I didn't find it that re-playable because it wasn't scary. The monsters were blah...and the story itself wasn't all that interesting. It seemed so offbeat for a SH game. I'm sure that was due to the fact that the developers were Russian.

I finished 3 again today, and once again established that the cult's god is a major pussy. What, you can't take some SMG rounds to the face? Mwahaha!

I'll be replaying 4 soon enough. I've made it through several times, but there's multiple portions I am not looking forward to.

I've never played Silent Hill: The Arcade , never really heard of it actually. Have you ever got a chance to play it? Silent Hill: Book of Memories looked like CRAP! I heard there was petitions against releasing the game.  How often do you play Origins, Homecoming and Shattered Memories?

I didn't even hear about the arcade shooter until long after it pretty much disappeared from arcades, and I never got around to BoM because I still don't have a Vita. I've heard it's a decent enough little spinoff title, but nothing more.

I'll break that last part down:

I've only played Origins a handful of times, mainly because some of the gameplay choices annoy me, like the new controls and the enemies that just won't stop following you.

Homecoming is alright, and I play it every now and then. I find it fun.

I like Shattered Memories the most out of the three, but I can only play it so much because of how, well, small it is. I love the story though, and parts of the gameplay are pretty fun for me.

Would one of those portions be the escort Eileen parts?

And the inventory. And the Victim Ghosts. And the new control scheme.

It's overdue, but I just brought the HD collection. It was never released in any of the shops that are local to me so I had to order it offline. So far I'm halfway through Silent Hill 2 and I have to admit it's probably the best £15 I've ever spent. I'd fogotten how dark, scary and fun this game was.

You've installed the patches and everything? The collection was buggy as shit on release.

I've got it on 360. I'm not even sure if I got an update. So far nothing too bad except at one point a manniquin popped out of a bush and landed in front of me but to be fair it made me jump.

Yep, that part is supposed to happen. Gets me every time.

It keeps happening actually. Just had 3 of them in a row pop out the trees like clay pigeons. You sure it's supposed to happen?

It only happens along that one stretch of road, but only if you run along the side. It happens a lot because of how long the road is there.

Weird lol.

Sriously enjoying it though. Using the new voices on my first playthrough and they don't seem that bad so far.
