Don't know if these were mentioned before, but there are class perks in Halo 4 and this is what they do.
QuoteHere's a Specialisations breakdown:
•Wetworks: Wetworks users get protection against the wall-penetrating Promethean Vision Armor Ability. You'll still show up on the HUD of a player using it, but you'll be a slightly more inconspicuous outline rather than a big red blur. Also, you'll get a bit of sound dampening when you sprint.
•Pioneer: A good standby if you're looking to rank up fast - this Spec generates extra XP for any action you take while you've got it equipped.
•Engineer: As an Engineer, you'll be alerted to incoming weapon drops a couple of seconds ahead of other players, increasing the odds that you'll get their first. If you're close enough, the HUD will point the way with a GPS arrow.
•Tracker: Damn near killed yourself reaching a drop, only to find that it's stuffed with underpowered guns? As a Tracker, you'll have one chance to re-roll the contents.
•Rogue: Players of SWAT in Halo: Reach should prioritise this one - its Stability perk reduces scope wobble while zoomed. I dread to think of what DMR diehards will achieve with the thing.
•Stalker: A class for those who hold grudges. The Nemesis armor mod generates an icon of the last person who killed you, and also tracks those who've attacked you.
•Pathfinder: Only the biggest guns will do? Sign up as a Pathfinder for reduced cooldown on vehicle weapons, and easier carrying of emplaced guns.
•Operator: The Wheelman mod grants your ride a little extra resistance against EMPS. It also lets makes vehicle health recharge a bit faster. Fortunately, this latter bonus can't be stacked.

Rogue, Stalker and Operator are pretty much the job for me.

Hmmmm, I'll have to play Reach on mutiplayer again to get an idea of what would best suit me.

Finished my playthrough of ODST. Gah, the more I play that game, the more I love it. Yes, it does have it's issues; it's too short (especially given the $70 price tag), and the whole "detective" aspect of it isn't really handled the best (honestly, how does the Rookie piece all that together from the little scraps that he found?), but it's still a very solid game. The story is great, the characters are fantastic (if a wee bit cliché). The strongest aspect by far, though, is that f**king atmosphere. Practically oozes out of the screen. The jazzy music, the moody shadows, the fantastic stealthy aspect, they all add up to making Mombasa Streets one of the best setpieces in the entire series. I really hope 343 decides to do more games like this; little side stories following a small cast of characters. Hopefully they'll bring back the squad for a sequel.

Started up again in Halo 2 now. Just finished "The Arbiter" and "The Oracle." Gah, so much tedium! This is by far the most difficult Halo game. By far. It's also one of the most engrossing. I'm loving all of these Covenant levels, getting insight into their politics and religion, and I am saddened in retrospect that Halo 3 completely removed those aspects, and that 4 will not be bringing them back. The Arbiter is a much better character than the Chief, with a very interesting arc and backstory. It's a shame his role was significantly axed in the sequel.

The Flood's introduction into this game was absolutely terrible, though. Just showing up for no reason on the gas mine. Honestly, they had no purpose in this level. Their role could've been saved for later.

I got chills. Not for the "good ol' Halo" feel, but for the feeling that it's faced a faithful evolution. Never saw that coming, the score was incredible.

Completely agree, first time I watched it I thought if they can keep that tone with the music and what looks to be an epic scale campaign we're in for a great 'Halo' game.

The Halo series has the best musical score out of any video game, IMO.

Hm, it would definitely be in my top 5.

Without a doubt though, the Kingdom Hearts series has my favorite score.

Ah, yes. Now that you mention it, that is a tugh choice. The piano score on Kingdom of Hearts is beautiful.

Am I the only one who just doesn't know what to think about the Halo 4 multiplayer armors?

Like, some of them, look really cool. Others, though... just...

I can't be the only one who just thinks that looks silly....

Lol, I remember when I first got Kingdom Hearts back in 2006. I popped the sucker in and didn't even know what to expect. When the menu faded onto the screen and that original piano score played, I knew I was going to love it.
