Something I already noticed in the design is that it has way more teeth than most Aliens, the little cable connecting the chin and head too, and the return of the back spike of course

Maybe it's the angle of the shot that gives the impression it has more teeth ? But it's possible it has more teeth.

Sort of colour/markings visible through a translucent shell :-)

Ah yes, I see what you're talking about now! Sorry, was mega tired when I read the initial message. Those little markings you circled are more of the ripples/ridges like we see on the frontal lobe. But what you are pointing out on the figure, I definitely saw those details in the movie and on the puppet when I saw it in person.

You guys just don't want to believe it. Time will tell. The xeno's regeneration ability is an idea that original Alien was trying to use. The regeneration ability would give the protagonists an intense sense of fear and oppression.
