Prometheus VS The Predator

It's so one-sided it's basically unfair.

Like an acting competition between Anthony Hopkins and Steven Seagal.

Prometheus, by a grossly inhumane margin.

Oh, come on... I know Prometheus had a ton of problems, but it's light years ahead of The Predator.

Prometheus is an absolute mess of a screenplay made even messier by editing, and yet it is nowhere even close to the mess that is The Predator.

Certainly is Prometheus. They're both messes but Prometheus holds up together much much better. The Predator is a complete mess, compared to Prometheus' just a mess.

As much as I dislike Prometheus at least it has beautiful cinematography and score, terrific acting from Michael Fassbender, and some really good creature FX. Prometheus tried to change the Alien universe but thats not too new considering how different each Alien film is from each other. The Predator tried to take a beautifully simple premise and convoluted it beyond recognition.

Its my subjective opinion, I evaluate these movies as a movie of the franchise they are in.

Its part of the alien series, as an alien movie I didn't like what was introduced to that universe. As an ancient astronaut propaganda movie its ok. Not a masterpiece but just fine.

"Garbage" is a little severe me thinks. Have you seen Battlefield Earth?

I remember reading the first script to End of Days by Andrew Marlowe. Now THAT was garbage. Arnold defeated Satan at the end and tells the cops.....

"Der was a fire. I poot it out."

Fifield and milburne were garbage. Everything else was great for what it was.
