[He wouldn't have bounced off, he had Hudson shoot it out to break its integrity before he dived through.

I don't think that's how acrylic works. Depending how thick it is, I think it would just put an isolated hole in it, not affecting the strength of the rest of the sheet.

People trying to turn Bishop into a secret villain is so weird.

These aren't normal bullets, they're 10mm explosive tipped caseless... standard light armor piecing. I'd expect them to do more damage than a regular bullet. Now I wish I had some acrylic and a m41a to test this theory.  Well I have the acrylic, just not the gun. :'(

I wonder, what if Neil Bloomkamp is a secret Bishop hater and the entire reason he wants to make Alien 5 is to blame it all on Bishop. hmmm

Quite.

Blame Alien 3.  Both its mystery egg and Bishop's duplicitous creator showing up to demonstrate his obsession with the alien triggered a lot of people who were otherwise content to let Bishop remain a good guy.

Spunkmeyer....it was Spunkmeyer.

Spunkmeyer was an alien in disguise.  He revealed his true form when he attacked Ferro.   There's nothing in the film that disproves it.
