It may seem silly, but when it wasn't even official yet I said on more than one occasion that no matter what they do these movies will still exist for our enjoyment.
Yet the official announcement still managed to get me down.
At this point I'm cynically just waiting to see where this actually goes. I suppose I could be optimistic that Blokamp doesn't aim to undo these movies, which at the least tells me that that isn't how he's going to focus his energy and time but rather just focus on his own ideas, a lot of which apparently haven't been revealed (which makes sense).
