I'm a little less annoyed now that I've finished season 4 - the final episode kinda worked as a conclusion. Might try and track down the rest though.

Well they did think the show was ending at that point.

I ran into an a**hole at work. So it was supposed to be my day off, but I volunteered to pick up the extra shift because we just had to fire somebody. Of course I was stuck at the front with crap duty. So this dude comes up, and he's got attitude just dripping off him. I'm taking care of my end of the job, and the guy just commences to f-bomb the hell out of me, and every other living soul over a penny. Tells me to tell the next person that needs one, to go "f" themselves. So I give him back his cash, hand him the bills, go to give him the change, and he closes his hand and pulls it away so the change I'm giving him falls everywhere. Then he gives me a nasty look.

So there's two young ladies being escorted by a young man, and they are next in line. The kid is getting nervous, and the girls are getting scared because this guy has gone full blown psycho. So I need to get him out of the place. I told him, "you dropped your change there", and he leans over the counter, looks me in the eye and say, "Take the change and shove it down your f****in' throat". So I told him to have a good day, and he left. About 10 seconds later when the kids finally came up, I apologized to them for that uncomfortable scene, and the bast**d comes right back in the front door, looks right at me and says, "what the f*ck did you just say!". So he had been waiting outside the door. I looked right at him and said, "I'm talking to my next customer". and he finally left. I told management, just to cover a** in case he calls corporate and says I was rude to him or something. They couldn't tell what really happened on the cheap video we have, so they were skeptical of my story, which just made my day that much better.

I was in no mood to spend the night in jail, or lose my job (tempting as it was), so I just had to stand there and put up with his bull. I'll tell ya, that was a toughy. I was raised not to tolerate that behavior from anybody, including while on the job. I don't mind getting cussed out, that's just part of life. But some screaming jerk getting right up in my actual face, that kinda pisses me off.

That blows man. I remember how tough customer service used to be.  :-\ At least it didn't escalate.

So the electric company sent some guy out to change the meter on the house the other day. Some new digital what-have-you. Ever since, the house is starving for power. The lights are flickering to the point of looking "exactly" like candlelight, the fans are only spinning at about 1/3 of their normal speed, and if you turn on so much as a blender on one side of the place, everything slows to a crawl on the other. It's blazing hot with high humidity outside and I have to shut off the air conditioning just to be able to wash the laundry. I've checked with my neighbors and family members elsewhere on the street and nobody's having any problems. This is how I enjoy my unpaid vacation. Too hot to fish and now I can't even watch some tv in a cool house. Hopefully I can get them to send somebody out here tomorrow and get it fixed.

Well, at least the riding-mower is running smooth. Little blessings, every day.  :)

Don't lose hope. Now you know what to expect, and you've got more time to study. You'll have an edge, and an even better chance of passing next time. Hang tough.

I can't feel bad about not passing, as MANY coders fail the first time, just like how many RNs usually fail the boards the first time. The fact I just graduated, have less than two months experience on the coding job, and had no idea how the questions were going to be formatted, I am proud of the percentage I got *pats self on back*

Sorry to hear mate but it's great you've got that experience behind you now! Go in knowing a bit more what to expect next time.

Doug Stanhope gig is sold out.
I follow him and others on Facebook to stay up to date on their gigs. Now for another reason I went to his regular website and noticed two shows within reasonable distance of where I live, already sold out, not mentioned on Facebook.
Got certain personal problems with travelling and this location would've really suited me. Reading everywhere he takes time to talk to his fans and/or drink with them, this situation really pisses me off.
He might be one of the few people I idolize.

Your determination and commitment will pay off. :) The test sounds like the GRE exam. A multiple choice.  In the math section some of the answers would be off by 1. Thinking an error in calculating causes you to redo it. When it's "None of the Above". Plays with your mind. Best of luck in the next round.

When you apply for a job that's written as a customer Service Assistant under a different title, then you go to the website to update the last few details and the job description has changed to a more managerial role which im not qualified for
and they've added an actually Customer Service Assistant job to the site.

Seriously WTF
