The Nature Conservancy is restoring the land back to a natural prairie near my house. Many are upset about the trees being cut down. I love trees too but they aren't endangered. I'm happy to see them working to save indigenous species. Also the land is available to hunters during season. So this is for the use of many.

I made an offer on another one this past Sunday, and lost another one. The house was on the market for 2 days. 9 offers in 48 hours. And lost again to an offer that waived inspections.

My new TV finally arrived.

My new TV was defective.  I had to arrange for a refund and send it back, so they're sending a replacement.  Now I have to wait another week before I can watch Jackie Gleason reruns when I eat.

The replacement TV arrived today (in a much sturdier box) and it's all set up now.  Looks great.  It's a "cheap" QLED, but it's significantly better than what I had and it didn't cost me more than $500.

Bring on Jackie Gleason!

Found a Lime Pickle recipe that actually looks both tasty and reasonable to make:

INGREDIENTS
1kg (2 lbs) limes - stab holes in each lime and then cut into eight pieces
125g (1/3 cup) salt
40 cloves of garlic - smashed
50g red chilli powder - or less if you don't like spicy pickles
FOR THE TEMPERING
150ml (3/4 cup vegetable oil
30 grams (1/3 cup) white cumin seeds
3 Tablespoons black mustard seeds
½ teaspoon asafoetida
