Rambo has both hands, his trusty knife and access to everything in the shed incuding the chainsaw.

I feel like Deadites would tap into Rambo's PTSD and psychological trauma and use that against him during pivotal moments in battles.

They'll try.
Only to realize the mistake they made because it only makes him angrier and gives him PTSD induced adrenaline strength.

Starting to think this movie might be even worse than The Predator (2018).

For me personally I can't see any parallels to The Predator. Army of the Dead knows what it is and simply serves it up. The Predator was such an odd out of place film.

Agreed.

I also wish we would have gotten that reverse-Die-Hard Commando sequel. How this all didn't turn into a James Bondesque Mission Impossible-ish multiple film Commando franchise is beyond me.

Yeah, Commando & Rambo, with a cheesy subtitle like Bloody Justice.
Two grumpy old neighbours, with a Tango & Cash vibe, both ex military, vs local hoodlums Death Wish 3 style.

It makes me genuinely sad we never got an Expendables-style movie when R-rated action flicks were in their prime. I guess the big names all had too much box office rivalry going on at the time.

Might have been expensive too, guessing they all got decent pay when they were popular.

Still wouldn't mind an angry old men type movie with Sly and Arnie. Could be golden.
