Sleeping Dogs (1977)

Sam Neill is great, and that ending was cool as hell.

The Bridge Over the River Kwai
I'd never seen this from start to finish before. Great film and some brilliant performances

Jason and the Argonauts
Some of Ray Harryhausen's best work

Forgot how beautiful this film is to look at. Sure the story is a rehash of Dances with Wolves meets Pocahontas but I still dig it. Also I never realised how many subtle Alien references there are or it could be thinking too much. Sigourney of course, a character named Parker ... there is a line in the beginning (with the alternate opening) where the two suits address Sully by saying `... a substantial investment' or something like that similar to what is briefed to Ripley by the company execs in the debrief meeting scene in Aliens.

Godzilla: KOTM
Loud. Stupid human characters. Fantastic Monsters. LOVE IT.

And lets not forget Michael Biehn almost being cast as the villain ;D

Kinda glad that didn't happen as Stephen Lang kinda steals the show for me even if he did shoot Ripley. Kept thinking through the whole film Pandora needs a Na'vi to stumble across a Derelict ;-)

Supposedly Lang originally auditioned for the part of Hicks so it all came full circle in the end.

And agreed that he's awesome in the film. I like Lang in general but he's clearly having an absolute blast as Quaritch!
